Hi, I'm Priya. Engineer by education, designer by choice, photographer by mood.

I started college doing a BTech in IT. Pretty sure I was going to end up at some IT services company. Then a friend showed me Figma one day and I never closed the tab.

The first year was messy, watching YouTube tutorials at 2am, redesigning apps I liked just to see if I could. By the time I got my first real project at Highon as a graphic designer, I had enough hours in to actually know what I was doing.

Three years in, I've shipped work for fintech apps, edtech platforms, legal AI, b2b products, design systems. Mostly for startups that needed design to do more than look nice. Some of it shipped to millions of users, some of it died in pivots and both taught me a lot.

I still don't have it all figured out. That's most of the fun.

Outside of work, I take photos, mostly travel and street stuff mainly the moments that don't wait for you to fix your settings. I also have plants (Uggu, Pandu, Tazz)

How I Actually Work

Figma for design, claude code or figma make for prototyping, writing and thinking out loud and ChatGPT when I need to generate images/videos.

I vibe code a lot. Built a freelance tracker for myself called ampr. It turns the hours I log into invoices, no spreadsheet involved. I've been vibe coding design systems too, so I can hand developers a working prototype instead of static frames they have to guess at.

I know HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Making my way through React so I can handle frontend myself one day.
